30% discount on BASIC prices for journeys with Frecce, Intercity and Intercity Notte.
Frecce, Intercity and Intercity Notte services will take you to the Festival della Valle d’Itria. You can travel with a discount of 30% on the basic ticket price to the stations of Taranto or Bari, thanks to the Special Events deal, by using the code ITRIAFEST.
CartaFRECCIA holders can also buy tickets for the performances with a discount of 10%.
To take advantage of the 30% discount on Frecce and Intercity trains
The Special Events deal is available from midnight on the day prior to departure for return tickets from 12 July to 4 August, with departure or arrival at the stations of Bari or Taranto.
The offer does not cover Executive or Salottino Business categories. The discount also applies to one-way journeys from/to Bari and Taranto.
You can access the offer via the Trenitalia app, at participating ticket offices and travel agencies, or on the website www.trenitalia.it in the following way:
- select your one-way or return journey to Bari or Taranto;
- select “view other offers” and in the drop-down menu select “Speciale Eventi” in the Offers section.
- Enter the discount code ITRIAFEST in the “Codice accordo” box;
- select “Confirm”;
- follow the same procedure for your return journey.
To access the offer you need to hold a ticket for the event. Remember to show it on the train!

To take advantage of the 10% discount on the performance tickets
CartaFRECCIA holders can claim a 10% discount on the price of tickets to performances by showing their card at the box office when buying their ticket.
