Jan Briers, Presidente della European Festivals Association, della Federazione dei Festival Musicali delle Fiandre e del Flanders Festival Ghent, ha una missione chiara: creare connessioni che superano i confini e uniscono le comunità. Durante il suo mandato come Vicepresidente della European Festivals Association (2004-2011), ha promosso collaborazioni e ha co-fondato l’Asian Association for Performing Arts Festivals. Dal 2017 è Presidente dell’EFA e continua il suo impegno per l’arte e la cultura anche come membro del Parlamento federale belga.

Jan Briers, President of the European Festivals Association, the Federation of Music Festivals of Flanders and Flanders Festival Ghent, has a clear mission: to create connections that transcend borders and unite communities. During his tenure as Vice President of the European Festivals Association (2004-2011), he fostered collaborations and co-founded the Asian Association for Performing Arts Festivals. Since 2017 he has been President of the EFA and continues his commitment to art and culture also as a member of the Belgian Federal Parliament.
